Description
Death Knell is a campaign for Left 4 Dead taking survivors through varied envrionments as they struggle to survive and reach safety.

Get the error "env_cubemap used on world geometry without building map" ignoring: urban_composite_02a, brick20_b, prodflra, brick34, urban_composite_01a. 5 separate messages, one for each texture. So lots of your textures are purple, or some only appear when light is shining on them.
Your infected ladders, like poles, are player ladders too. Not sure if this is intended? It made the one "fire escape" panic event skippable, just climbing up the building.
On the death_knell_03 map, there is a spot with an ambulance and then a drop down into the sewer. That's as far as I got in the campaign. The ladder is broken, and once on it you cannot climb back out the top. There was a hunter below me so I tried to climb out the top, fell off the ladder, was immediately incapped, then pounced… and the AI apparently could not climb the ladder so I died.
A couple other spots, sometimes on those pole ladders, where the AI gets stuck… and then they just teleport beside me later.
Also I'll say the same thing I've said on some other people's maps. Complete darkness != fun. It may seem like a cool idea, but when you go through buildings, tunnels, sewers, whatever with only your flashlight it gets annoying pretty quick. There's a reason the official maps use lighting to help point the direction to go.
Sorry if I sound harsh, but these maps have more technical issues than some others I've played with the textures and ladders. The layout and general map is kinda cool. I liked the crashed/tilted subway cars walking through at an angle, for instance. And the fire escape panic is a nice idea as well. Just clean up the texture issues, fix the ladders, and add some lighting and it will be a very nice map.
Why is this even on here? Another abandoned map.
It's on here becuase someone decided to release their map to the public, so stop your moaning.
