On the front page, the random map and list of new maps has been replaced with a "New content" section. You can see new maps and campaigns added to the site. Instead of boring text links, this list uses preview thumbnail images of the map or campaign poster. This should be a much better way of giving new content a chance to be recognized.
To accommodate the larger area this takes up, Community links and Server have been moved over to the left side.
Top rated content will make a return eventually when the new ratings system is done.
I've created a page listing the ways you can stay up to date with what's going on here. It's accessible by clicking the orange RSS button in the New content section.

L4D Map DB now has its own domain, L4DMapDB.com. All old URLs will point to the new one.
Ratings are disabled because they were url-dependent. New ratings system coming soon hopefully.
Thanks to spywarrior, we have an additional file mirror running at http://files.l4dmapdb.com.
Some minor theme changes (rounded corners, etc.) and small layout changes on front page.

Feedback area now has an AddThis share button. Now you can promote maps on other sites, bookmark them, and share them with others.
Anonymous map commenting has been enabled. You still need to sign up to edit the wiki.
beta testing a map explorer bar at the bottom of map and campaign pages. its content can be triggered by certain tags.
